My Cup Overfloweth...

I am proud to announce that Irby and I now have 4 boys!!  Peter is 11 days old now, and I hope to post more of him soon.  We are really enjoying him!  He is so precious and sweet and EASY, so far!  Now once he wakes up in a few weeks, things will really get interesting!  The boys are obsessed with him...but I can't leave them alone with him in the room just yet.  They are constantly poking him, trying to pry his eyes open to wake him up to play, falling on him, accidentally elbowing him in the face, etc.  Poor guy is really learning to be laid back and easy going!  Irby is particularly attached to him.  The 2 of them look a lot alike as babies and Irby is thrilled about that because he wants a twin too!  A friend took these pictures, and it took a LOT of convincing (and guilting him into not teaching his kids to have a bad attitude:) to get Irby to get in 1 or 2 of the pictures that were supposed to be of just the kids.  I sure am glad he obliged!
I had to laugh at the title of this post...we were joking the other day about all the things that are overflowing at our house lately....our cup, of course, our toilets (3 potty trained boys who love to use toilet paper!), our cart overfloweth (grocery cart that is), our grocery bill (man these boys can put away some food. I am serious they eat as much as I do, and MORE than I do at breakfast) just to name a few.  Life gets a lot more complicated when you have kids, but it sure does get a WHOLE lot richer too!

And here are a few pictures from a fun week with Nana and Grandoc last week.  We had a great time and they were a HUGE help!  I wouldn't have survived the past week without them!!
I have no idea why the spacing is so strange on this page.  The blog editor is new, and have to say I don't have time to figure out why it's not working tonight!

Kite Festival and Zoo

Among the MANY awesome things DC has to offer is a kite festival on the weekend of Cherry Blossom Festival. There were so many kites and the boys had a blast. They ran around and I just sat on the ground and took some pictures to make up for lost time. I have been SO bad about taking pictures the past few months (or maybe years...).

We go to the zoo about 2 times a month and these are a few pictures from our latest trip. Again, DC has SO many wonderful free resources to visit! The zoo is a part of the Smithsonian...come visit us all you out there with kids! (But I don't think anyone reads this except our family, but you all better come visit soon, we will show you a good time!)

Scroll down for 2 more blog entries, mostly pictures......Can you tell I am nesting? Cleaning out everything, including the cameras.

Birthday Pictures....32 and 5!! (and 2.5)

Irby's birthday cupcakes.
The Star Wars Jedi Knight Training Party. We had the party a little early because we thought the baby would be here around his birthday! HA! It is April 5, and I am still pregnant...
Charlie and Griffin also turned 2.5. I can hardly believe it.

Big Irby's birthday. The boys were so excited you would have thought it was their birthday.
Been a busy few months around here, we are tired because we are all getting older!

Been Meaning to Post This Picture....

So proud of my big 2.5 year olds! They wanted to potty train right before Christmas, and boy did I NOT have the energy, but we went with it and they have done great!! The boys also turned 2.5 last week while Irby turned 5!! I'll post some pictures of that soon, I hope! In the meantime, here is a picture of sweet baby #4 from about a month ago. Hope we will get to meet this one soon!
